Hello!
I’m Amos, an Italian language tutor with a Bachelor's degree in Russian and Italian Sign Language from the University of Venice. Since 2017, I’ve been teaching Italian on platforms like Italki and Preply, developing a rich and engaging approach that goes beyond just vocabulary and grammar.

I’m passionate about sharing stories and making connections between cultures, particularly those tied to Italy and my home region. My academic background in international relations and history allows me to weave fascinating narratives into my lessons, helping students understand not just the language, but the rich tapestry of history and culture that it represents.

During my time in Albania, I uncovered intriguing links between its history and the Venetian Republic, a connection that resonates deeply with me and my hometown. This exploration of shared histories enriches our conversations, offering students a unique perspective on the language they are learning.

Having studied English, French, German, and a bit of Spanish, I have a deeper understanding of the language learning process. I believe that language is not just a means of communication, but a bridge to understanding different cultures and histories.

I’m excited to connect with learners from around the world, whether through travel or online interactions.

Since 2023, I’ve also been teaching at the Italian Institute of Culture, further enhancing my expertise in teaching Italian. My goal is to make learning enjoyable and meaningful, creating an atmosphere where students feel inspired to explore and express themselves in Italian.
